Sharing and permissions

Invite collaborators and choose what they can change.

Invite collaborators to a project so they can inspect results, contribute work, or review evidence. Choose an access level based on what each person needs to do. Open Settings in the project to manage members and invitations. This requires ownership or Admin access to the project.

Choose an access level#

Access applies across the project, including its artifacts and evidence reviews. If you can view content but cannot change it, ask a project owner or administrator to check your access level.

AccessWhat it allows
ReadView the project’s runs, models, dashboards, and evidence.
WriteAdd and change project content, including runs, models, dashboards, and evidence. Record evidence review decisions.
AdminManage project content, members, invitations, and the project name.
OwnerManage the project, including deleting it.

A deployment administrator manages user accounts. This is a separate role from Admin access to a particular project.

Invite a collaborator#

In project Settings, select Invite person.

  1. Enter the email address the person uses to sign in.
  2. Choose their permission and invitation expiry.
  3. Select Send invite.

The invitation appears in the recipient’s account. Ask them to sign in and open Account to accept it. If it has expired, create a new invitation. Pending invitations can be changed or removed from project settings.

Change or remove access#

Removing access does not delete the person’s existing contributions.

In project Settings, find the member to change their permission or remove their access.

Sharing a project, run, model, or dashboard link does not grant access or make its contents public. Invite new collaborators to the project first.

API keys use the project permissions of the account that owns them. See API keys.

Shared accounts#

If your team shares an account, everyone uses the same identity and project access. Ask your administrator for individual accounts if you need separate authors, reviewers, and permissions.
