Resolve common setup, access, and missing data problems.
The SDK connects to the wrong Hub#
Run embedl-hub auth to see the base address and the source of its configuration.
For hub.embedl.com, use embedl-hub auth --reset-base-url. For another
installation, follow Connect the SDK.
An EMBEDL_HUB_API_BASE_URL environment variable overrides the stored address;
update or unset it if needed. See SDK configuration.
Authentication fails#
Confirm that the key was created on the same deployment, is still valid, and has
not been revoked. An EMBEDL_HUB_API_KEY environment variable overrides a stored
key. Replace an invalid key using API keys.
If the web app repeatedly returns to sign in, contact your administrator.
A project or edit control is missing#
Check the selected project and signed in account. Accept any pending invitation on Account. Ask the project owner to check your project permissions. Dashboard editing also needs a desktop browser window.
I cannot find a feature#
For a self-hosted Hub, see Feature availability.
For hub.embedl.com, contact Embedl support. If you can open a feature but cannot
make changes, check your project permissions.
Runs or measurements do not appear#
Check the Hub address, selected project, run status, and active filters. Clear filters in Runs or Experiments and inspect the run directly. The Hub shows what was logged, so confirm your code called the relevant logging method and inspect its errors or warnings.
For CLI jobs, embedl-hub use shows active targets and where they came from.
Queued batch entries are not available in the Hub until embedl-hub batch send succeeds. See CLI.
A chart is empty#
Select runs that contain the metric and check its exact key. Line charts need metrics recorded over steps. A missing metric is different from a metric with value zero. See Dashboards.
An artifact upload fails#
Check that the local file exists, then check its size, account quota, and network access. A self-hosted installation may also set a maximum upload size; your administrator can check that limit and server storage. See Artifacts.
An evidence check reports missing data#
Confirm that the submission includes the right run type and exact metric, parameter, or tag key. Check the check’s run filter and rule. A manual check has no automated result to pass. See Checks.
Ask for help#
Give your administrator or Embedl support the page URL, action, error message, and deployment version if known. Include the run ID and SDK version for logging problems. Exclude API keys and passwords.
